Do i have pink eye or is it something else?

When i was in school, my eye was super red! i had contacts on so i though " hey maybe its the contacts" i was wrong. it kept hurting and it was irritating me. it felt like something was in it. i kept squinting and something keeps coming out of my eye repeatedly. It's like eye boogers or such. also this morning i couldn't open my eye much. now, i changed my contacts and put my glasses on, but it still bothers and it's still a pinkish red. so im guessing i do have pink eye -__-
