My cat has pussy eyes and has boogers in his nose. he is currently receiving eyedrops from the vet?

the drops are called Neopoly dex opthalmic soln#1 the vet gave us the drops since we thought he had a fox tail but he didn't. He has been getting the drops for about 4 days but it seems like nothing has improved? please help he is my baby :((
