Please help!!! Really confused about animal bite force?

Ok so first off I want to know which living animal has the strongest bite force on the planet. This article (a href="http://animal.discovery.com/news/briefs/20030915/alligator.html" rel="nofollow"http://animal.discovery.com/news/briefs/…/a says) it's the American alligator. This article (a href="http://discovermagazine.com/2009/jan/100)" rel="nofollow"http://discovermagazine.com/2009/jan/100…/a says it's the Great White. National Geographic documentary; "Bite Force", Brady Barr. says it's the crocodile. Wikipedia uses Brady Barr's study and agrees it's the crocodile (a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crocodile)" rel="nofollow"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crocodile)/a it states "These jaws can bite down with immense force, by far the strongest bite of any animal". I also want to know which animal has the strongest bite force for mammals. Wikipedia says it's the hyena ( a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaguar#cite_note-WCS-26)" rel="nofollow"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaguar#cite…/a it states in this article about jaguars that " jaguars have the second strongest of all mammals after the spotted hyena." Wikipedia then contradicts itself by saying in this article (a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spotted_Hyena#cite_note-26)" rel="nofollow"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spotted_Hye…/a "Although once thought to have the most powerful jaws among extant carnivorous mammals, other animals such as the Tasmanian Devil have been proven to have even stronger bites." Now i'm confused about which mammal has the strongest bite force. I'm SO confused HELP!
