So please don't call me a sick little prick,but im 14 and i still eat my own boogers. when i'm in class i sometimes try to make it look like i'm just scratching my nose,but im really just scraping the boogers/snot of the side of my nose,then i wait about half a minute and then i eat it. Ok so I have REALLY hairy legs and the hair is really dark since I'm Italian. I hit puberty when I was probably 9 1/2 and I started getting really bad underarm hair at like 10. At first I didn't care cuz I was little and didn't understand. Then my mom forced me to wax my underarms. Wed only do it like 3 times a year so most of the time Id go with a long sleeve. Then she'd Wax my legs but only like 5x a year since 1. She barely had time and 2. When she did have time I wouldn't let her because it hurts so bad!! I hate it so much! And my mom only does waxing because she says it doesn't grow back that fast and it makes the hair grow back lighter. That's true but I can't always wait! I have clean legs for about a week then like 2 months of disastrous black legs and underarms. Now I just finished 8th grade and still never shaved! I started being embarassed about it in the beginning of the year when all the girls had smooth legs and I was all hairy. I'd seriously wear sweats to cover my legs. Actually when I was about 11 I asked my mom if I could shave because all the girls had smooth legs and she said no, most girls are hairless that's why. So I continued barely waxing. But now I'm on vacation the whole summer and staying near the beach and it's really embarrassing! I'm 13 now and everytime I ask her she says absolutely no because the hair grows back thicker and darker and it'll be harder to wax -_- WTF idc! U just keep shaving! Ok long story, I'll try to make it short. I had my best friend and an other friend sleepover at my house, my best friend was there the night before. it was fine till it got late. they ignored me and used my stuff. so i got pissed, left the room and unplugged the internet cord, they got mad, replugged, i said it's my house, my rules and i unplugged it. You have little chance of being accepted into any of the selective UC schools for freshman admissions, such as UCSD, UCSB, and UCSC. For someone with such a low GPA, you are eliminating your best chance to get into these campuses, since they give top priority to ccc transfers and they won't even look at your HS GPA as an upper division transfer. San Diego has some of the best community colleges in the state, and they have the Transfer Admission Guarantee and Transfer Alliance Program with ccc to greatly increase your chance of attending UC schools you want. You could probably get into the CSUs if you fulfill all the subject requirements with a C or better, maintain your GPA, and score well on the SAT. You might have a chance with UCR, but even that is marginal for you. Community college transfers tend to have a higher GPA when they do graduate, and have a better chance of attending graduate programs. I personally attended Palomar college, then I graduated from a CSU summa c u m laude and easily got into the graduate program of my choice. In my opinion, the community college professors were better than most at 4 year schools. Many of them work full-time as professionals and teach part-time, so they have much more current skills and knowledge than university professors, on average. My college diplomas don't show any record that I started at a ccc to transfer - the diploma is the same for everyone (except mine shows graduation with honors.)

do a few lines of blow... at that point, your nose should start bleeding, that is if you are relatively new to the drug. That should moisten the area a bit. if that doesn't work, you can also try picking it profusely as that will also cause it to bleed. unlike the random bleeding of a woman monthly, nose bleeding can be taken under one's own wing and controlled.

Ok so this might turn out to be a little long but i really need to know! :) Ok so about 2 months into my boyfriend and i's relationship..i decided to adopt a kitten. At that point in time i was still living at home and wasnt aloud to get a dog plus im just a cat girl >_< lol. anyway...up until our kitten (Bently) was about 20 weeks old my boyfriend had NO PROBLEM with having him. Now keep in mind Bently is just a normal kitten, he plays eats sleeps all that. The only thing that is "annoying" about him is that he was born with a permanent upper respiratory infection pretty much meaning he sneezes a lot and boogers come out just like a person when there sick. And obviously im not just going to leave them stuck to his face or on the carpet in going to clean him up right...just like anyone else would do i feel. So now this is were im angry i guess. After going through vet after vet trying to get Bently to not be sick anymore all of a sudden my boyfriend started HATING him. He'll put him outside at night and we live on a moderately busy street. He'll lock him out of the room, he'll get so angry and start fights with me if he's on the bed and most of all he tells Bently/me oh i wish you would just get eaten by a coyote or hit by a car. He says i hate you. and i know it sounds a little crazy but it makes me sad because i love Bently more than anything (i cant have children and my boyfriend knows that) he's like my little baby. And whenever we have fights now (which we never fought once up until this point in time) he always says i pay more attention to the cat then to him and that i love the cat more. And yes i love Bently a lot but come on he still is just a cat. So basically im asking does this sound normal or has this ever happened to anyone else before? Cat has chronic URI....anyone have any suggestions on how to treat it?

My 8 yr old grey tabby has chronic URI, his symptoms include uncontrollable sneezing and nasal discharge. Sorry to give the gross details, but basically he sneezes uncontrollably and the cat boogers will fly out of his nose. I'm getting really tired of having to clean them off of my walls/baseboards. He also has horrible smelling breath and his eyes weep. I've taken him to the vet numerous times, the vet always prescribes expensive antibiotics which fix the problem temporarily, but as soon as he's finished with the medicine the symptoms come back. So for a while I've been giving him 2 tsp's of viralysis twice a day mixed in his wet food (its lysine in a gel form) Not so sure its helping him much as he's still sneezing and has the discharge. Is there anything else I can give him that would help with his symptoms? Vitamins etc?

My Dog's eyelid is swollen and pink. What could be wrong?

This problem happened a while ago (like 6-12 months). At first I though it was a bug bite or something.I Put peroxide on it and it went away. Then the other day I thought that there was some eye boogers on her eyelid (a mistake) and I took it off. Turns out it was a scab. So now her eyelid is swollen again. I will put peroxide on it. Does anyone have any clue what could be wrong? It doesn't seem to bother her at all.When I touch it (or nearby it) it does seem sensitive though. If it becomes a problem then I will take her to the vet. Until then, Any advice would be greatly Appreciated.

My kitten might have conjunctivitis!?

I am really worried my 8 or 9 week old kitten might have conjunctivitis. I need to know the symptoms! We took him to the vet on Monday for some follow up shots he needed. I talked to the vet about him having issues with lots of crusty eye boogers in his eye. They are brown. Occasionally he would wake up with his eye glued shut. The vet gave him an extra shot, but I cant really remember what it was called. Lately he has been washing his eye with his paw. Now something new has been happening. My dog is a Blue Nose American Bull dog, and all of a sudden she has a swollen eye lid only the top is swollen. The eye itself is a little red and it looks wet under the eye there are gooey eye boogers but not much and i cleaned them off. I am really worried because it was not like that this morning. Its swollen to the point where she can open her eye a little bit. I am not sure if she scratched it, something got in it, or if its just a bug bite. She is also pregnant and i am not sure if the pregnancy can cause it because i don't know a whole lot about this kind of stuff and we don't have an emergency clinic around here that i know of. I can take a picture if it would help? I am going to call the vet tomorrow but i wanted to know if anyone has had a similar problem and if there is anything i could do now?

The last night that i lived there i had put my daughter to bed, both of my parents where laying down in bed. and i got on their computer(my bf let me use his internet port cuz my parents didnt have internet wayy out where we lived) and was talking to some friends and doing school work. no big deal right? well my dad came out of his room to go outside for a smoke and saw me and said "hey, what are u doing on the computer?" (ever since i can remember our first computer hes always hated seeing me on it, i recall beeing in the 6th grade and asking to use it for a research paper and he got so mad that he picked up the monitor and threw it in my bedroom. now..back to what i was saying..he asked what i was doing and i said "school work, my bf lent me his internet port so i could do it" and he said "uh no u can do your work in your bedroom, i know you, you get distrated easily" and i said "im not dad, im just doin my school work and then ill get off, i'll only be another 15-20mins max and ill be done" and he said "well why cant you do it in your room?" and i said "its easier to do it this way, its faster" and he said "well i dont want you on MY computer, get off" and i said "i dont see what the problem is, everyones in bed and im doing school work, whats wrong with that?" and he said "idc i dont want you on it. GET OFF" and so i shut my book and tossed it up on the counter, and he easily assumed that i was throwing it even though he was standing 5 feet away and watched me. and said "dont cop an attitude with me" and i said "i just dont see what the big deal is" and at that point my mother came out and said "wth is going on?" then told us both to stop it, i pushed the computer chair back over to the desk (not hard i just put my hand on the back of it, pushed it and it BARELY tapped the desk, my dad looked at me and said "OH YOU WANNA SLAM SH**? LETS GO SLAM SH**!" and walked into my bedroom and tipped over my entertainment stand. and it broke alot of my things. at that point i cried and called my bf to pick me up (my mom offered to watch my daughter) and to get the hell out. and that was about 3 or 4 months ago. i havent talked to my dad since then...is it wrong to not talk to him even though hes a sadist *******? sometimes i feel bad but sometimes ill think of that night and they WAY he said things with such a snarky attitude, you could easily tell he wanted to start sh**. so......am i wrong? was he wrong?.....what should i do?(oh and just to be clear my mother is watching my daughter and i take her everyother weekend (her dad gets her on the other weekends) until me and my bf get a place next month)

Nothing you do before high school counts for college, and MIT will limit you to listing 5 activities or less. You need to make those 5 count. The best thing you can do for those schools (besides high grades and test scores, which everyone has) is to get involved in your future major now. I assume that's science (if it's engineering, Stanford, Michigan, Purdue, Cornell, and others are better than Harvard) - get an internship during the summer at NASA, or MIT, or one of the others that offer research opportunities for high school students. Get some research done, hopefully published. That's the kind of thing students applying for top schools have on their resumes - something that makes you stand out a bit.

I woke up with green gooey stuff in my right eye & eyelashes?

So i'm 13 and today I woke up with green gooey stuff in my eye and eyelashes. At first I thought it was just the regular eye "boogers" but then I realized that eye "boogers" are crusty-like, and these were gooey. Also it was in my eyelashes and they were stuck together. I looked more into my eye and noticed that the little thing at the corner isn't pink, it's a bright-ish red and there's a lot more blood vessels in my right eye than in the normal left one. Im about to enter 12 grade in the fall, and i just recieved my SAT scores in the mail. It was my first time taking it, but i got a 490 in critical reading, a 500 in math, and a 640 in writing. My dream colleges are Duke and Johns Hopkins, but i really don't think i can get into those now :/ my unweighted GPA is a 3.5 and my weighted is around a 3.7-3.8. I dont remember the exact weighted GPA. But im taking AP honors and GT courses. I hope to become either a pediatrician or a pharmacist but I feel as if i'm too stupid for either of those careers. Do you think i can get into a good college with said credentials? If so which ones? ...BTW i am in a lot of clubs and organizations at my school (colorguard, concert band, choir, national honors society, spanish national honors society, culture club, and im a peer mediator).

It is understandable that your scared. These are new and confusing emotions to deal with. The thing is that you are right you are young not to be mean or anything your a little young to allow these feelings to get you into such a fret. REALLY REALLY damaged hair..?

I understand that some people get plastic surgery to look better or because of medical issues. However, I want it because I just dont like noses. I dont like boogers,the hairs or just noses period. I think you did the right thing first which was to get a damp cloth and wash it. He might have something in his eye that's irritating it. If he will let you, try to open it slowly while using the warm cloth and if you can get it open then sweep the eye itself a couple times with the cloth. It might help remove dirt or whatever may be in there. If he keeps it closed or it starts to swell and have discharge, it would be time to go to the vet.

I am entering my junior year in a dietetic program. I love what I'm studying and have no regrets on my choice. I am getting increasingly concerned though with snagging an internship (which you have to do to become an RD) at the end of my program. I have always been interested also in becoming a certified lactation consultant. I feel the two go hand in hand. My question is if I complete the dietetic program (bachelors in science with a major in dietetics) without doing the internship (thus no RD status) and complete the required certified lactation consultant courses (let's say I pass the courses and the national exam) would I have an issue finding employment? I would be an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) but not an RD (Registered Dietitian). Thanks for any advice. It will take a lot longer to finish school with doing the dietetic internship and I would like to start working sooner.

What should I do with my cat?

So, we thought that his eyes had air (lots of eye boogers) because when he was a kitty, his eyes would close up a lot. We let him be like that because we thought he was going to heal. He is a very healthy cat and usually his wounds heal up fast as so did his eyes do when he was a kitty. A week passed by and nothing happened. I soon saw his right eye bleeding with wet eye boogers and on top of the eye, hair removed. I think a car might of hit him because he can't see with his right eye, his natural eye is avocado green and this it was like a disease bluish and now it is more red and mixed with a little of that blue. Point is, I didn't take him to the vet or emergency because: 1. We thought he was gonna heal 2. We didn't check him well 3. It costs too much to fix pets (I once had a cat who was so kind and she wanted to share food with my dog and that dog doesn't like to share her food and bit her head and my poor kitties eye popped out of her head, it didn't fall, and we took her to the vet emergency and they charged us $1,000 just to push her eye in and sew it up) I don't want him to keep on suffering, so what should I do? Take him to be put to sleep or call animal control? Will any of them get mad at us for not taking care of him and maybe take legal action, charge us a penalty, fine, punish us? Dietetic degree and lactation consultant - Can I get a job?

I am entering my junior year in a dietetic program. I love what I'm studying and have no regrets on my choice. I am getting increasingly concerned though with snagging an internship (which you have to do to become an RD) at the end of my program. I have always been interested also in becoming a certified lactation consultant. I feel the two go hand in hand. My question is if I complete the dietetic program (bachelors in science with a major in dietetics) without doing the internship (thus no RD status) and complete the required certified lactation consultant courses (let's say I pass the courses and the national exam) would I have an issue finding employment? I would be an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) but not an RD (Registered Dietitian). Thanks for any advice. It will take a lot longer to finish school with doing the dietetic internship and I would like to start working sooner.

Does my kitten have allergies?

We adopted a Siamese mix kitten about a week ago that was born around 2 liters of kittens. In the past couple of days we have began to notice that he regularly gets little eye boogers throughout the day. I get the boogers out of his eyes every two hours or so and they continue to reappear through the day. After we noticed that, we started paying a bit more attention to him and he also seems to sneeze throughout the day. We are wondering if maybe he has allergies? We'll be able to take him to the vet in a week or so when cash flow is a bit more fluid, but we are concerned that if he has an infection it might spread to our other kitten, who seems super healthy and is about 14 weeks old. Our little Siamese boy is only 6-7 weeks old, if that has any importance as well. Any input would be a big help!

HELP! Are my dermal hip piercings rejecting or am I just being paranoid?

I got my hip pierced about a week ago, three points on one side. They were perfectly fine up until about 4 days ago when my top piercing started to get a little red and swollen. I have been cleaning them all with an antibacterial soap and doing warm salt water soaks everyday. My baby has had constant eye boogers for the past couple days?

Help! My cat is really skinny!?

Okay so recently my cat has become skinny. This is Ozzie's(my cats) Story: He was farel and was brought into a shelter. He then was socialized and is a love bug. Hi! I bought a guinea from a mom and pop pet store that treats their piggies relatively well last Monday. The lady I usually get them from now lives too far away, that's why we went there. Anyways, I had her out and I thought I noticed two little yellowish bugs moving through her fur. Only two. We called the pet store, and they treated her for lice AND mites. Yesterday, we combed her out with a nit brush and looked allllll over and we found not even one louse. I looked again today and also found none. She does not seem to be itching very often either. However, my concern now it this little patch near her rump that has had these little itty bitty flecks o white on it. They are only in this one area, and they are at the very base of her fur. My mom described it as a scaly patch of skin. She has had these since last Monday, if they were ggs wouldn't they have hatched by now? Do you think she has lice? Keep in mind I have a severe phobia of bugs so I might have imagined the movement. Also, she has had these little grayish crusty things just above her nose, and I removed them and they looked like boogers almost. Apart from these two things, she has been eating and playing and drinking normally. Would you say that I could deem the quarantine period over and introduce her to my existing sow? Need help with a Waiver for the National Guard?

I received a RE 4 JHJ from the Navy Reserves in 2007. I know I messed up big time but I am serious about reenlisting and I also know its more than likely not going to happen but I am still holding out hope. Ther�'s something wrong with my right eye!?

My right feels like it has something in there. ive check and checked and theres nothing inside.Also when I bend down i feel this pressure in my right eye which causes it to hurts. THen if i press down on my eye it hurts . I noticed i had this little spot on my eyeball almost like a bruise.
